Meet Manchester United girl – Angie Laus!

Today we meet another Manchester United Girl, famous Maltese TV presenter, Angie Laus. She is very well known not only for her weekly entertaining programme ‘Hadd Ghalik‘, but also for being a passionate Manchester United fan! Angie has welcomed our invitation to share her thoughts and love for Manchester United with us.

I’m from Bugibba, Malta

How long have you been supporting Manchester United?
I’ve been supporting the best team on earth since as long as I can remember.

Where did your love for Manchester United come for?
Most probably this comes from.my dad as he is a huge supporter too. But I’vee always had a soft spot for Giggs as a player so it’s thanks to him too!! I still remember my bedroom when I was young with u huge quilt of Giggs… I still have it.

How many times have you watched United play at Old Trafford?
I’ve only been twice to Old Trafford. ..I have to go more often!

What’s your favourite memory as a fan of Manchester United?
Oh so many great moments but probably the Champions League final against Bayern Munich is the best!!! So many emotions!

Who is your favourite Manchester United player of all time?
That has to be Ryan Giggs!!! No doubt about it..great footballer and played from his heart…A true and loyal United player. I’m very glad he is still with us and hope to see him as a manager in the future.

Who is your current favourite Manchester United player?
At the moment my favourite player is Blind. I think he.s an amazing footballer and the fact that he is good looking to is a plus 🙂

Which position do you think Manchester United will be at the end of this season?
I wish they will win! I believe they can…Our main competition this year is City…so if we do not win the league I think we will be second.

Which football team/teams do you hate the most and why?
Chelsea…I simply don’t like Mourinhio… but there’s also Liverpool! !! They hate us …We hate them!! My husband and son are Liverpool supporters so I should’t say this ..but I am always so pleased when they loose!!!
