Luke Shaw suffers double leg fracture.

Manchester United left back Luke Shaw was seriously injured in the early minutes of Manchester United’s defeat against PSV after defender Hector Moreno caught his leg as he tried to go past him. He suffered a double fracture of his right leg and is expected to be out for up to 6 months.

The excessive challenge was not punished by the referee. It clearly should have resulted in a penalty for Manchester United and a red card for Hector Moreno. The latter ended up scoring the equalizer for PSV, followed by Luciano Narsingh scoring the winner in a disappointing 2-1 defeat for the red devils.

After being taken out of the pitch on a stretcher to a standing ovation by both side of fans, he sent a tweet thanking everyone for all the support.

Shaw was one of the best players this year so far for Manchester United and this injury will be a massive blow for them. He will probably be replaced by Marcos Rojo for the upcoming games this season.

We would like to wish Luke Shaw a very speedy recovery!
